Brent BlackLion Nelson is a student of the world, studying diverse topics from physics, computer programming, and astronomy to spirituality, vegetarian and vegan cooking, and drumming. He attained a B.A. in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Southern Maine in 1998. BlackLion enjoys sharing his knowledge as well as learning from everyone he meets. He has been writing poetry, short stories, and articles for many years and has in the past five years joined with Starcat as creative partners. He writes a regular blog, BlackLion’s Den, at blacklionsden.blogspot.com. For the EarthTides Pagan Network, he is the webmaster, newsletter editor, and a regular contributor with the whimsical Faerie Tidings column. BlackLion lives with Starcat and their wonderful family in southern Maine, enjoying nature and spending their time walking, writing, gardening, laughing, learning, and exploring. He plans to travel the world to share his wisdom, expand his knowledge and practice of Reiki, and learn more drumming styles with friendly local folks.
